Intergenerational Resilience

ReefNet Fishing and Reconciliation

Held on the traditional territory of Tsawout First nation, this event centers intergenerational learning between WSANEC Elders, children and youth. The first of a series of Intergenerational Resilience projects it will also feature the WSANEC Peoples’ story of the Banning of the ReefNet Fishing following Canada’s Confederation in 1867, and their courageous work to bring it back to life.
